Day One was a HIT!

Wow. Day 1 of the Electric Vehicle Rolling Showcase is officially over and could not have gone better. We gave rides to tons of people, including several delegates, media and new energy supporter, Daryl Hannah. We are on site at the corner of Champa and Speer again today, stop by for a ride or to meet the stars from the documentary, “Who Killed the Electric Car”!

The Who, What, Where, When and Why of the EV Showcase

Hi Everybody! We are getting really excited here in Colorado! Here’s some
more info about my event.

Where: At the New Energy Station at Champa and Speer, in Denver

When: Sunday, August 24, through Thursday August 28 10 AM to 6 PM

What: Ten Electric Vehicles, including the Tesla Roadster, Toyota RAV4 EV
(from the movie “Who Killed the Electric Car?”) an Acura TL EV, the AC
Propulsion Ebox, Plug-in Prii and more!

Who should come: All delegates, and anybody interested, are invited to come
take a ride in an Electric Vehicle. We will try to give rides to everyone,
but will make delegates a priority if there are a lot of people.

Who will be there: We’ll have some vehicle owners on the ground, talking
about their cars, as well as two stars from the movie “Who Killed the
Electric Car?”, Paul Scott and Colette Divine. Colette was actually
arrested on film while trying to save Electric Cars from the Crusher.

Why: Because Electric cars are the future!

So, come on down to the Convention, stop by the New Energy Station, or come
by the super event on Sunday, the Green Frontier Fest. We’ll be there!

Take it EV at the DNC

I’ve always been fascinated with cars. I worked as a mechanic for seven years and was taken with the concept of a car that had, instead of hundreds of moving parts, only a few.

Beyond that, electric vehicles are economical, environmental and practical. I’m a “real guy” who drives my 2002 Toyota RAV4 EV to work everyday and, by my own confession, enjoys the ability to haul a large supply of cargo in my car. There’s also something about getting the equivalent of over 100 miles per gallon that makes driving that much more enjoyable – especially given current gas prices.

Now, as a Delegate, I’m bringing electric cars to the Democratic National Convention for the Electric Vehicle Rolling Showcase. We’ll be on the corner of Champa and Speer with everything from electric SUVs and pickups to sports cars. Come by for a ride and experience the future of automobiles for yourself.
